Breaktime Over

Okay so I am back and I believe I am back for good. I must admit that not blogging was pretty hard because there has been some great music released since 2011 has begun. However a lot has been going on and I have had the urge to let them out. My significant reason for ending It's Whatever in the first place was due to me focusing more on vocal. It hasn't been long, but I have yet to acomplish anything musically. Or at least as an individual. I have had a lot of time to think and I thought, what if my dreams never come true? What if I continue to persue but I never make it? I know people are told to believe in their dreams and work hard and it will happen. And I do apply that to everything that I do, but truth is not everyone's dreams come true. As a society we are only able to see the success stories, but never the failed stories. I really would love for my dreams to come true, but truth is it may not. All I can do it try and thats what I will continue to do. However I have not been doing good, just check out my video below it says it all. As of right now my back up plan will be writing, so I have decided to balance both music and writing. Meaning there will be more frequent posts from me. Not only will the posts be on music, but other things. I never had many readers to begin with, and when I talked about my blog with a friend of mine she told me that if I included drama on my blog than maybe I can get more readers. Now that I look back on tha conversation she may have been correct. I mean who doesn't like drama, and my life is nothing but drama. So I'll share some personal stories and hopefully my readers can give me advice on the drama in my life. Over this past month I have been experimenting with poetry, so I would love to share some of my poems as well. I don't know what it is, but this afternoon I was somehow enlightened. There are so many ideas that I have and I cannot wait to use those ideas to bring It's Whatever back to life and satisfy my old readers, as well as attract new ones. So I declare It's Whatever open for business AGAIN. Who knows, if I don't become the next Keri Hilson maybe I can become the black Carrie Bradshaw when I get older.

Here is a video of me singing "Hustler" by Keri Hilson, I tried really hard. However it didn't come out too well. =(
